Reasons Your Food Intake is Not Helping You Lose Weight

Carbohydrate Intake

wrong-diet

For maximising the amount of fat your body metabolises after each HYPOXI session, avoid food for the first two hours and consume only protein foods for a further two to four hours. Otherwise, you will not be able to adequately burn the fat deposits from your stubborn areas. Eating carbohydrates late in the evening will not get burned but stored. Remember that rice, pasta and bread are not the only sources of carbohydrates. They are also contained in-

  • Potatoes
  • Sweet potatoes
  • Beetroot
  • Pumpkin
  • Carrots
  • Legumes
  • Cereals
  • Nuts
  • Bananas
  • Melons
  • Mango
  • Cherries
  • Apple
  • Dried fruits
  • Sugar
  • Ice cream
  • Chocolate
  • Drinks with high sugar content
  • Caffeine and alcohol intake need to be avoided as well following Hypoxi session.

Not Exercising

Regardless of the diet you follow, you must exercise. If you are only restricting your food intake, your metabolism will slow down. Whenever you cut down the calories, you are losing a little bit of muscle along with fat. Muscle is one of the keys to stoking metabolism and muscle loss often counteracts weight loss effort. However, it is better to exercise on non-HYPOXI days for best result.

Not Getting Adequate Sleep

not-sleeping

You will not be able to get best results if you are not getting at least 8 hours sleep. Not having adequate sleep can reduce the benefits of HYPOXI. Being short on sleep affects the weight. If you do not sleep, your body will cook the perfect recipe for weight gain by secreting fat-storing hormones like cortisol. Moreover, if you are not getting enough sleep, you might be tempted to have a bigger cup of coffee or skip exercise altogether.

Rewarding Yourself with Food

HYPOXI  is all about eating the right foods at the right times.

Burning 300 calories give reason enough to celebrate. However, it is better not to reward yourself with a high-calorie diet. Always remember that for long lasting weight loss, you need to be disciplined, consistent and strong-willed to maintain that weight.

Hope that you found some possible reasons behind weight loss program failure. Stop wondering how to lose weight and address the cause behind it now.
